Dr. Van W. Knox IV (Rafe), VMD, DACVR
Radiology
Dr. Knox has been a veterinary radiologist since 2004. A graduate of the University Pennsylvania, he received his VMD in 1994 before completing an internship at the Animal Medical Center. Specializing in radiology, Dr. Knox completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Knox’s professional interests include a variety of imaging modalities – ultrasound, diagnostic radiology, and CT, as well as procedures such as aspirates, biopsies, ethanol ablations, and contrast studies.
Dr. Knox is married to his wife Lisa, who is also a veterinarian. The couple has three children (ages 27, 25 and 20) and many pets including one dog, five cats, and four Nigerian dwarf goats. Dr. Knox loves photography and traveling. He attends the Zion Lutheran Church in Leola.
