Dr. Sophie Leone is a 2020 graduate of Colorado State University. She began her career as a commercial swine veterinarian, but soon made the transition to small animal medicine. Emergency and Critical Care medicine is her passion because she thrives on helping the animals, and their families, that need it most. Being part of a team that helps get patients feeling healthy, happy, and back to their pet parents, or assisting with ending patient suffering and facilitating a peaceful passing, are important to her. When she is not working weekends at PETS in the ER, she is seeing patients in the comfort of their own home in her mobile veterinary practice. She shares her home with her golden retriever, Holly, chiweenie Kelsey, two cats Sawyer and Stanley, and her cockatiel, Peter Pan.
